Slimline cutting discs are a popular choice for cutting operations, due to their slim design producing fast clean cuts with minimised burr formation on application, reduced friction and heat build-up.

Whether you're cutting metal, plastic, or even ceramic, Superflex slimline cutting discs will cut with ease. This year at Nampo Bothaville, not only will we be featuring many of our cutting discs sold at Major Retailers, but we will also be demonstrating the Superflex curve cut.

Unique in its design and introduced by Grinding Techniques as the first shape 28 cutting disc to the South African market, the Superflex Curve Cut enables effortless cutting of circles and curves from sheet metal quickly and effortlessly - eliminating the need for additional specialist tools often used for this purpose in the past. These machines are often large and cumbersome or sometimes operate as a fitting added onto an existing machine, where the Curve Cut is designed to fit directly onto a conventional right-angle grinder.

Typical applications include cutting wheel fenders on custom cars, ellipses in large bore pipes for T-joining, and IBR or corrugated roofing to fit curved profiles and installing of extractor fans and turbines.

Available in 115 and 125mm disc diameters, multiple sizes of holes, radii or contours can be cut by simply adjusting the angle of the disc application to the workpiece.

Suitable for applications on both carbon and stainless steel.
