Superflex - 45 Years in the making
Forty-five years ago, we started small, with one goal – to craft durable, premium products that last, right here at home.
Since opening our doors in 1981, the Superflex brand has grown from a small family-owned business into a local industry leader.
Whether serving large-scale industrial sectors or dedicated home DIYers, Superflex delivers a comprehensive, tiered product selection. As the flagship brand of Grinding Techniques, we are proud to be both a leader in technical industrial performance and a household name for everyday abrasives.
Manufactured from only the best in raw materials, we feature premium quality with the perfect balance between cost and longevity.
From the versatile Evolution 'Everyday Abrasive' known for exceptional value, to our high-performance Professional series, we offer a tiered solution for every cutting and grinding application.
In the Professional range, the Superflex Slimline A60V 2-in-1 cutting disc offers premium results while drastically reducing overall cost-per-cut. For conventional cutting, the Superflex Industrial AS30S offers multiple cuts on high alloy steel, and mild steel, the perfect addition to any toolroom.
When it comes to cutting multiple substrates, the Superflex Slimline Industrial multi-purpose takes the front seat, as it effortlessly cuts through PVC, copper pipes, steel, aluminium and more.

Beyond conventional abrasives, we innovate with a range of specialist cutting discs.
Our offerings include the Superflex Curve Cut—the world's first T28 disc engineered for effortlessly precise circle and radius cutting, the versatile Cut-Grind offering two applications in one disc, and the Superflex Cool Cut, designed to drastically reduce operator fatigue through minimized vibration during use.
Grinding applications are made easy with multiple options ranging from Industrial, to the Professional/Premium range, featuring rapid stock removal with excellent longevity. Superflex Industrial grinding discs are known for their robust performance on high alloy steel, mild steel, and cast iron, while applications on harder-to-grind materials are made easy with our ceramic and zirconium discs.
Our extensive flap disc range offers solutions to finishing and stock removal applications ranging from wood to heat sensitive steels. Available in Evolution to Premium, with both type 27 and type 29 on offer in different diameters and grits.
In honor of our 45th anniversary—a milestone 'halfway to 90'—we are bringing the Superflex experience directly to you. Our local roadshow is now visiting selected Gauteng Retailers to provide live product demonstrations on-site, while our latest billboard campaign makes its mark across the Gauteng skyline.
